Fiddle Competition, 2006
| Congratulations to All Competitors! You planned and practised your tunes, you entered and registered, and you stood up there all by yourself and played your violin in front of your family and friends, a Judge, and a lot of strangers, and lived to tell the tale! All of us in the fiddle community are very proud of you, and even awed. Judge Douglas Lawrence says: "The fiddle competition was a great success, I felt, and I hope that all the competitors will return to 'fight another day,' whether they won, were placed or showed. The standard was high and above all very Scottish!" This is indeed high praise. For the Competition Results:
