From Patricia Andrus, Trophy Chairperson: "As you may know, the N.H. Highland Games has traditionally solicited sponsorship support for the monetary awards, trophies and medals for winners in their respective competitive categories. We hope to continue this effort and make it more comprehensive, including monetary awards for our most proficient competitors and awards for winners in the beginning categories. We invite you to choose one of the awards listed and donate the amount assigned to it. Your name, or any name you designate, will be engraved on the award, and it will also appear in the 2008 program book. We ask for these donations not simply because we want to reward the participants who are carrying on a great tradition, but because we wish to assist the N.H. Highland Games in shouldering the responsiblity of producing one of the most diversified highland gatherings in the Northeast."
You can consider a one-time award, or you could also become an award "subscriber," and plan to sponsor a particular award each year. You can "unsubscribe" at any time.
Travel money for the U.S. Nationals is also very much appreciated. We would like to ensure that our New England Champions can compete in the Nationals, which this year will be in Virginia in October.
Hope to see you at the Games and the Fiddle Competitions!

Let's all sponsor the prizes and cups. Those prizes that go unsponsored are in the end graciously contributed by the Games, but it would be nice to fill in all the blanks with members of our Scottish music and dance community, to support one of the great traditional fiddling activities which in turn supports the dancing activities at the Games and elsewhere. There are sponsorship opportunities for $15 - 300, so there's something for everybody. It's also a nice touch to sponsor a prize "in honor of" someone special. These sponsorships help finance the actual cups and cash prizes, also the judging expenses, hall expenses, and small inexpensive vegan nonfat lunches for the Volunteers. Things like that!
